  • We do four main things: sing, pray, read the Bible and then listen to the Bible explained (that goes for about 30 minutes). You don’t have to join in the singing, and if you don’t have a Bible we have plenty that you can pick up before the service starts.

No participation is required. You won’t be asked to do anything you don’t want to do and you are more than welcome to leave whenever you want.

  • Absolutely! Everyone is welcome. We’d love to get to know you and we’d love for you to get to know Jesus.

  • The service starts at 9.30am on Sunday morning. You can arrive on the dot if you want or a little before. If you’re running late, that’s ok too!

  • The service goes for about an hour to an hour and a half. After the service, we have morning tea in the back hall, which you’re more than welcome to stay for.

  • Wear whatever you feel comfortable in. Many of us just wear jeans and a t-shirt.

  • Yes! The kids join in with everyone for the start of the service and then we have a kids talk especially for young children during the service. Our children leave after about 20 minutes to go to Sunday school (5-8 year olds) or creche (4 and under). If you prefer your kids can stay with you through the service. There’s also a cry room and change facilities at the back of the church.

  • We live stream our Sunday services for those within our church community. Please contact us if you would like to be added to the list. Or click here to see our services on YouTube.

  • At Ulverstone CRC we treat child safety very seriously. All of our people who work and are in contact with children in church are required to have a Tasmanian WWVP card and to complete Childsafe training.

  • The church follows the current Tasmanian government health directions and guidelines. For more information, please see one of the elders.
