What We Believe.
At Ulverstone Christian Reformed Church, we believe:
the Bible is the inspired Word of God and is the final authority on everything to do with faith and life.
Jesus Christ is the Son of God. God sent him to earth to live a perfect life and to die on a cross, cursed by God. Three days later he rose from the dead, proving that he was who he said he was and proving that he defeated death.
Everyone who trusts in Jesus will be rescued from the punishment they deserve due to their rebellion against God and one day be raised to everlasting life.
We tell others the good news so that through faith in Jesus we can all have hope for the future.

What is ‘Reformed’?
Reformed churches identify with the protestant reformation – a movement in the 1500-1600s – which saw churches strive to ground their faith and life completely in God's word, as opposed to church tradition or human reason.
Churches in the reformed tradition share several key values. These are Christ alone, grace alone, faith alone, Scripture alone, and the overarching commitment that all of life should be directed to God's glory alone.
