Youth & Children

Crèche

Our crèche runs each Sunday during the morning service as a help to parents with young children. Parents can leave their children in the care of the crèche so they can attend and concentrate on the morning church service.

Crèche generally caters for babies and children between the ages of 1-4 years.

Children

During the Sunday morning service children and their families spend the first part of the service all together in the church hall. Children can join in the service and singing and we then have a Kids' Talk focusing on the same passage as the ‘big people’ in church.

After about 20 minutes, the children in Kinder – Year 2 will then be directed to head out to the church hall where we run a separate Bible-based program especially for them. We give children the opportunity to discover more about God and to develop their own faith journey with Jesus. We spend time reading the Bible, thinking about what it means and talking about the "so what" question about life. Every week sees Sunday Schoolers thinking and learning to handle the Bible confidently, and practising praying aloud.

We also run special family services where children take an active role in the Sunday service (including presenting our work on Bible learning, congregational prayer and Bible reading)..

Youth

We run a youth group for Years 7-12 called ‘Yoof’ once a fortnight where there are games, food and a space to talk about the big topics of life and time spent studying the Bible. We kick off at 7, finish at 8.30 at the church hall. If you would like more info about either of these spaces, feel free to contact us.

We are a Childsafe church

All of our Youth and children’s teachers and helpers have undergone Childsafe training and have completed Working with Vulnerable People checks.
