The Ulverstone Mainly Music program is a fun, interactive music session for young children and their caregivers and provides a valuable connection between our church and local community. We run mainly music on Wednesday mornings at 10am in the church hall (gold coin donation per family).

About the program:

• Young children and their caregivers enjoy music, rhyme, rhythm, creative dance and more.

• Preschool children develop skills – co-ordination, fine motor skills, gross motor movements, social interaction, language development and gain an appreciation of music and musical styles.

• Provides children with a structured environment and then a time of free play.

• Provides a time for caregivers and children to be together for interaction, and in doing so, teaches parents and caregivers rhymes and songs that can be used at home to help with cleaning up, colours, counting, and more.

• An opportunity for parents to network with other parents of preschool children. And for families to find a sense of ‘old fashioned community’.
