Raising kids God’s way

Last week the Gospel Coalition republished a really interesting article about raising kids in a Christian home. It was based on a survey (in the US) which looked into kids who stuck with their faith (and the church) whilst growing up, and what factors were common among them.

It makes for really interesting reading! As parents, and grandparents, and people in a church with a bunch of kids, we want to think deeply about how we can help them grow up (as we promised at their baptisms) 'in the knowledge of the Lord.'

Of course, none of these things will guarantee our kids grow up as believers - that rests in God's election. However, our part in God's work is still to create an environment that teaches and models and instructs in positive and helpful ways.

So, have a read - whether you have kids or not. And think through and reflect on the questions at the end. I hope you find it fruitful!
